Contaminated trade waste is water that has been contaminated in the process
of normal business practices that cannot be returned to the environment safely
without being treated. Contaminated trade waste may contain chemicals,
fats or detergents or other harmful products. Contaminated trade waste is typically wastewater from food preparation areas or
as a result of any washing, cleaning or rinsing process using products that may
be harful to the enviroment.
Above Ground installations
Trade
waste tanks trap and retain grease, fat, oil, silt, sand, sludge and
other substances to prevent their entry into the sewerage system. Trade waste
tanks vary in
design according to their application.
Manufactured from PVC and Polypropylene materials, this tank is suitable for above-ground installations only
Standard tanks are fitted with 100mm nb. Inlet and Outlet pipe and 50mm Vent
Cirular screw-down access covers are fitted to a top lid that is screw fixed to the tank flange
Tank dimensions and pipework positions are nominal and in all cases conform to Trade Waste recommendations
When space limitations dictate, equivalent capacity tanks can be manufactured to order
